Gottfried Schüll
Gottfried Schüll ist führender Experte bei der Monetarisierung von SEP-Patentportfolios mit weltweiter Reichweite. Er war von Anbeginn maßgeblich an Patentverletzungsverfahren basierend auf standardessentiellen Patenten (SEPs) beteiligt. Die Inhaber von SEPs betreffend Videokompression (MPEG-2, AVC/H.264, HEVC/H.265) und Kommunikationstechnik (TCP/IP, NFC, 4G, DSL) vertrauen seit mehr als zwei Jahrzehnten auf seine Beratung in komplexen Verfahren gegen die Nutzer ihrer Technologien. Basierend auf diesen Erfahrungen aus der erfolgreicher Durchsetzung von SEPs wurden zuletzt 2022 Verletzungsklagen basierend auf HEVC/H.265 SEPs gegen den Weltmarktführer im Bereich Smartphones und TV-Geräte eingereicht. Erfolgreiche Durchsetzungskampagnen gegen die größten chinesischen Hersteller von Smartphones und TVs auf Basis von AVC/H.264-SEPs haben seit 2015 dazu beigetragen, dass das entsprechende Lizenzierungsprogramm der MPEG LA als Goldstandard der SEP-Lizenzierung gilt. Thomas Rox
Dr. Thomas Rox betreut als Patentanwalt und Partner von COHAUSZ & FLORACK große Mittelständler aus den Bereichen Holzwerkstoffindustrie, Hausinstallationstechnik und Haushaltsgerätetechnik in allen Fragen rund um technische Schutzrechte.
