Attorney Rebekka Schiffer is a specialist in the areas of trademark and design law, advertising law and competition law. At COHAUSZ & FLORACK she advises national and international clients on the global management of their intellectual property rights portfolios. In particular, she advises them on questions relating to trademark creation and on property rights searches. She is also an important contact for the development of brand and design strategies and the market launch of products. As an expert for intellectual property rights, she regularly participates in international trademark conferences (e.g. INTA and MARQUES) and exchanges information with colleagues from Germany and abroad on the globalization of trade in trademark products.

Rebekka Schiffer represents clients before all German Regional and Higher Regional Courts, the Federal Patent Court, the General Court of the European Union and the European Court of Justice as well as before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

Since 2005 she has been working as an attorney for COHAUSZ & FLORACK and has been a partner in the firm since 2010.

As part of her law studies at the universities of Saarbrücken and Düsseldorf, Rebekka Schiffer spent several semesters in Nancy and Madrid as an Erasmus scholarship holder. She then studied intellectual property law in Düsseldorf and was one of the first graduates of the course. She worked in the IP group of a law firm in England for her legal clerkship.
