As a patent attorney at COHAUSZ & FLORACK, Hans-Joachim Meyer primarily attends to medium-sized companies from the metal processing, automotive, sanitary engineering, household appliance and wood-based panel technology sectors. He has many years of experience and expertise in patent infringement matters, in the prosecution of IP applications and in the conduct of opposition and nullity proceedings.

After studying mining at the Technical University of Berlin and professional training in intellectual property law, Hans-Joachim Meyer worked for two years in a Berlin patent law firm. He has been admitted as a German patent attorney since 1994 and as a representative before the European Patent Office since 1996. He joined COHAUSZ & FLORACK in 1996 and was appointed partner in 2005. He advises his clients in German and English.
