The team’s caseload includes cases concerning antitrust, consumer protection, licensing and contractual disputes, securities, and IP issues, among others. Litigation department chair Michael Attanasio is based in San Diego; his recent experience includes successfully representing Sony in a class action that alleged unfair handling of consumer warranties for televisions. Also in the San Diego office, Mazda Antia heads the Southern California business litigation department. Bay Area lawyers Shannon Eagan and Beatriz Mejia, Chicago partner Ian Shapiro, and Boston-based securities litigation expert Luke Cadigan round out the department’s leadership group.
