Highlight-Mandate
Representing Samsung SDS in a Korea Commercial Arbitration Board arbitration against another Samsung affiliate represented by one of the largest Korean law firms, in respect of several demurrage/detention cases involving container boxes carrying world-renowned Samsung Electronics Corp products exported to the US.
Representing KOEM (Korea Marine Environment Management Corp), a quasi-governmental entity in charge of maintenance of marine environment and anti-pollution measures, in litigation where local gravel collectors demanded KOEM reduce the fees for the use of exclusive economic zones for gravel collection.
Representing Kuehne & Nagel in the defence of a damage suit by a manufacturer involving the carriage of wind turbine gearboxes transported from a European nation to China, which features three separate suits pending in the courts of Hong Kong, Czech Republic and Korea.
