Represented the Mehta family in their defence of an alleged $1bn fraud claim in respect of gold bullion and precious metals facilities.
Acted for Hayat Otel AS/Bilgili Holding in the successful defence of a Commercial Court claim issued under Section 68 of the Arbitration Act 1996.
Defended Swynson Limited and its owner in a landmark Supreme Court appeal, which questioned whether the repayment of loans by a borrower released or reduced the liability a negligent adviser has to a lender based on the principle of res inter alios acta.
