Highlight-Mandate
Advising the consortium, comprising EDF, TotalEnergies and Sumitomo Corporation in connection with the US$5 billion development and financing of the 1,500MW run-of-river Mphanda Nkuwa hydropower project in Mozambique.
Advised Unique Meghnaghat Power Limited as Borrower and the Sponsors in relation to the US$463 million permanent financing of a 584MW regasified LNG based combined cycle power plant in Bangladesh, which is is the largest IPP project financing to have closed in the past few years in Bangladesh.
Advising ADB, IFC, KEXIM, K-Sure, KDB, FMO, Proparco, OPEC Fund, AIIB and BII in relation to the US$600 million financing and development of the Upper Trishuli-1 216MW run-of-the-river hydropower project in Nepal which has 3 concessional financing tranches (among a total of 10 ECA and DFI tranches), including a subordinated IFC IDA PSW tranche.
