Wiersholm‘s practice spans the full gamut of contentious and non-contentious TMT matters. The practice is led by a capable quartet of partners: Hans Erik Johnsen, who acts for service providers, technology developers and media companies on all aspects of TMT; Anne Marie Sejersted, who acts for renewable energy, medtech and offshore clients; Rune Opdahl, who delivers ’practical solutions’ across a broad range of work including data protection and media law; and Kai Thøgersen, who takes point on M&A and corporate matters. The team also includes Theresa Schumacher Walberg and Emilie Sverdrup who are recommended for IT contracts, and data protection specialist Line Helen Haukalid is a key contact for GDPR mandates. Carl Emil Bull-Berg departed in February 2024.

Advised and assisted the Norwegian Ministry of Labour and Social Inclusion with respect to technology and data protection issues related to the use of digital management tools in the execution of public procurement.
Advised and assisted Ice Communication Norge on its efforts to enter into agreements necessary to build out a new nationwide 5G/FWA network for the Norwegian market.
Successfully assisted Eltorque in a dispute against a former collaborating partner copying Eltroque's main product technology before the District Court and the Court of Appeal.
