Loyens & Loeff's litigation and risk management practice group handles high-profile litigation often with international angles and cross-border elements. Class action litigation is a key focus of the team, alongside its strong commercial, corporate and financial litigation offering. The team is also accustomed to handling corporate restructuring and insolvency disputes and corporate criminal defense matters. The team is jointly led by litigation specialists Sidney Berendsen and Bastiaan Kemp from Amsterdam. Berendsen is a corporate disputes expert and is sought out by clients to represent them in disputes related to M&A, shareholder conflicts and supervisor liability. Co-lead Kemp has been active in corporate governance cases and multi-jurisdictional litigation. Marit Bosselaar is the go-to for ESG and finance-related litigation.
