BC&B Law and Business fields a strong team across the full range of IP work, excelling in the prosecution and enforcement of rights, and ultimately in litigation should the need arise. Its client base includes global household names in pharmaceuticals, as well as industry leaders in manufacturing, energy and the tech sector, among others. Senior partner Juan Carlos Amaro is a veteran of the practice area internationally, and heads the firm’s IP litigation practice, as well as its trade marks and copyright group.  Octavio Espejo is another senior figure whose areas of focus include life sciences, patent and registration proceedings, technical consultancy for litigation, technology transfer, plant varieties and industrial secrets. Victor Adames is, along with Amaro, the lead contact for trade mark and copyright matters; with Raúl Dominguez and Roberto Durán being key partners for day-to-day IP administration and management. Carlos Hernández is another experienced IP litigator; while of counsels Mónica Serrano, Andrea Shaw, Luis Enrique López and Stefi Leunig constitute a solid second tier. Mariana González departed the firm in August 2023.
