Fielding key partners from three of its four Mexico offices, Baker McKenzie Abogados, S.C.'s litigation team is a crucial component of the firm’s wider global contentious offering. The department is often engaged in multi-jurisdictional cases and has built a strong reputation in the energy, automotive, alcohol, tobacco, pharmaceutical and tourism sectors. Alfonso Cortez-Fernández is the chair of the litigation group in Mexico and maintains his broad contentious practice from the firm’s office Monterrey.
