The group is equally equipped to advise on private equity and venture capital investments, joint ventures, debt restructurings and securities offerings. Firm founder Daniel Kuri Breña Romero oversees the department and has experience handling the financings and loan restructurings of major domestic corporations, as well as securitizations and other structured financing transactions. Additional key partner-level contacts include Luis Octavio Núñez, who has particular expertise in the creation of financing structures and vehicles for the securitisation of real estate assets; and Miguel Vallejo, who is well-versed in the issuance of debt instruments in the Mexican securities market. Ex-practice co-head Álvaro Sarmiento Lapiedra left the firm in January 2024.
