Addleshaw Goddard fields a ‘practical and commercial’ team of lawyers across England and Scotland, with AIM- and Main Market-listed clients as well as major investment bankers and brokers regularly instructing the practice to guide them through the corporate and regulatory aspects of their transactions. The team maintains a very active offering in the takeovers space for both targets and bidders, with a particular propensity for advising foreign clients on transactions subject to the UK Takeover Code, and it is also active in advising listed entities on public M&A. Giles Distin and Simon Wood are key contacts for this line of work and also have a strong reputation for advising tech and life sciences companies on their primary and secondary fundraising activities.
