Osborne Clarke‘s multidisciplinary practice advises on, in addition to pure restructuring and insolvency issues, the finance, regulatory, tax and public law issues affecting clients in distressed situations. The firm is also accustomed to supporting creditors, suppliers and lenders in crisis settlement matters. The team is led by Filippo Canepa, who advises clients on crisis management, insolvency proceedings and reorganisations. Maurizio Zonca is a key member of the team, advising bankruptcy trustees on liability claims and debt collection.

Assisting German federal institution FMS Wertmanagement on a multi-billion framework agreement to unwind Hypo Real Estate Holding AG, the Italian assets of which have included over €11 billion in loans, derivatives, bonds, and asset sales.
Advised the Pozzi Group, including its parent company System Holz s.r.l. and subsidiary Oxidal System s.r.l, on a complex debt restructuring process.
Advising Pasubio Sviluppo S.p.A., a real estate company focusing on the redevelopment of the “Area Pasubio” district in Parma, on a complex insolvency procedure caused by the client’s deteriorated financial situation.
