Highlight-Mandate
Acted for Michael McAteer and Paul McCann of Grant Thornton, in their capacity as the Joint Official Liquidators of Spencer Dock Development Company and other companies in liquidation that formed part of the Treasury Holdings group, which are defendants in complex construction defect litigation in the High Court.
Acted as special foreign counsel for the Official Committee of Opioid Claimants of Endo International in respect of a large debt restructuring, which involved Chapter 11 restructuring proceedings in the United States, and acting as Irish counsel to the OCC in respect of a scheme of arrangement in Ireland which formed part of the overall restructuring of Endo's liabilities.
Acted for the liquidator of Enterprise Insurance Company in relation to the Irish aspects of the liquidation, including applications for payment from the Insurance Compensation Fund.
