It represents a range of insolvency practitioners, pillar banks, private equity houses, state entities, distressed companies and other stakeholders. It has continued to advise parties in many of the biggest restructurings and insolvencies in the market, including Mallinckrodt, Endo International and Avaya. John Donald heads the restructuring and insolvency team and leads many of the group’s top engagements. Of counsel Frances Flynn also impresses. William Day has retired.

- Advised Mallinckrodt in relation to the ongoing Chapter 11 proceedings commenced to implement a comprehensive circa $3.6bn financial and capital restructuring transaction, which it is envisaged will involve parallel examinership proceedings in Ireland.
- Advised an ad hoc committee of the first lien lenders to Endo International in relation to all Irish aspects of the ongoing circa $8bn restructuring transaction implemented through Chapter 11 proceedings.
- Advised EML Payments in relation to its petition seeking the Court liquidation of its subsidiary, PFS Card Services Ireland, an e-money institution regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland
