The powerhouse dispute resolution team at CMS remains a market leader, harnessing the bench strength of a global network of 80 offices in 45 countries to advise insurers, financial institutions and domestic and multinational corporates (including Ryanair, Siemens and Veolia) in high-value, cross-border litigation and arbitration, criminal and compliance investigations, bankruptcy and liquidation matters and tax litigation. With a client roster spanning such sectors as aviation, telecoms, tech, pharmaceuticals, energy and manufacturing, the practice is led by experienced litigator and arbitrator Zsolt Okányi, who brings expertise to white-collar crime investigations. Other key figures include Péter Bibók, who manages construction arbitration and IT and banking disputes; József Kohl, who brings key support on white-collar crime and anti-corruption matters; Gergely László, a specialist in the financial services sector; Szandra Wolf, who handles international commercial and treaty arbitration cases and Boldizsár Bálint, who draws on experience in appearing in ordinary court proceedings, and in arbitration under the ICC Rules and the Hungarian Permanent Court of Arbitration Rules.
