Successfully secured a landmark win for Citicorp International Limited, the trustee of a tranche of defaulted USD450,000,000 6% guaranteed bonds issued by an indirect subsidiary of the Chinese state-owned Tsinghua Unigroup Co. Ltd.
Acted for Traxys, a global leader in the mineral, mining and energy industries, in a dispute relating to a USD12 million loan facility granted by Traxys to an exploration and mining company with a complex corporate structure including holding companies in Hong Kong focused on development of mineral deposits in the Russian Far East.
Acted for Oaktree in relation to a secured senior term loan facility over HKD7.6 billion (approximately USD950 million) extended to GT for the purpose of refinancing in order to complete the construction of Grand Homm, a luxury development in Ho Man Tin.
