DLA Piper's procurement practice is an integral part of its Litigation & Regulatory group, thus contentious issues, including litigation, represent one of the team's particular strengths; this is also reflected by practice head Thomas Gädtke, who is experienced in dispute resolution. With a sectoral focus on IT, transport and infrastructure, the team assists not only bidding companies but also increasingly public contracting authorities and further deals with award and review procedures for cloud-based IT procurement as well as PPP projects for the expansion and new construction of motorways and bridges.
