Baker McKenzie focuses on regulatory, contractual and data protection issues and advises telecommunications companies, hardware developers and companies from industries with communication elements, such as the automotive sector. The team acts integrated into the firm's global practice and regularly advises on the planning, development and implementation of new business models at national and cross-border level and most recently assisted with matters pertaining to frequency regulation. Caroline Heinickel heads the team and has expertise in machine-to-machine communication. Johannes Döveling (regulatory and contract law) moved to Bird & Bird LLP in February 2024.
