Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH primarily advises hospitals, medical care centers and care providers as well as investors, medical service providers, medical technology and pharmaceutical companies on transactions and regulatory issues; clients benefit from an interdisciplinary approach, which covers relevant procurement, employment, IT and antitrust law matters. The team is led by M&A experts Oliver Kairies and Cornelia Yzer and – since his move from Baker McKenzie in July 2023 – Christian Burholt, who boasts expertise in antitrust and EU state aid law. Most recently, the practice strengthened its capacities in the pharmaceutical and medical device area with the addition of Elisabeth Kohoutek from King & Spalding LLP in April 2024 and Thomas Willaschek from D+B Rechtsanwälte Partnerschaft mbB in June 2024.
