The team's expertise further extends to insolvency proceedings, corporate reorganisations and distressed transactions. Practice heads Philippe Dubois, who is highly skilled in litigation, and Joanna Gumpelson are well versed in the full range of insolvency proceedings and debt restructurings. - Advising a pool of banks comprising 57 institutions belonging to the French banking groups BNP Paribas, BPCE, Crédit Agricole, Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, La Banque Postale and Société Générale in the context of the €9.7bn debt restructuring of the Orpea Group.
- Advising a pool of 4 banks in the context of the €125m debt restructuring of Jennyfer, implemented in the context of court-monitored rehabilitation proceedings (with classes of affected parties) and the approval of a rehabilitation plan by the Commercial Court of Bobigny in June 2024.
- Advising the companies of the Metabolic Explorer group in connection with the safeguard and rehabilitation proceedings and the approval by the Commercial Court of Paris of sale plans and, notably, the takeover of the activities of the Metex Noovistago biochemicals plant and the Metabolic Explorer R&D business by Avril.
