The banking and finance team at Patrikios Legal enjoys an excellent reputation for its work across the entire spectrum of local and international loan transactions. It regularly works on loan restructuring and financing projects. Under the leadership of Stavros Pavlou, it handles a range of multi-jurisdictional corporate financing matters for major banking and financial institutions, international law firms, and in-house counsel of large groups of companies. Additionally, the firm maintains a separate banking litigation department which represents banks in banking recovery work. The department also helps with the listing of companies on international stock exchanges. Stella Strati is another prominent member of the practice, along with Angeliki Epaminonda. Lia Iordanou Theodoulou left the firm in early 2025.

Facilitated an international financing transaction with a value of more than U$1bn, whereby a bank provided financing to a global group of companies operating in the natural resources and technology sectors.
Assisted a Cyprus professional trustee of a Cyprus international trust in relation to the banking relations with a Swiss Bank, along with Swiss counsel, to regain access to the bank account of the trust which was blocked by the bank.
Involved in the structuring of the financing documentation for a EUR 15m financing of an airline by private investors in the shipping and broker industries.
