Highlight-Mandate

  • Advising Gordian RunOff in a test case in the NSW Supreme Court involving the interpretation of a statutory limitation on cover imposed on policies of Builders Warranty Insurance by the Home Building Act 1989.
  • Defending a medical malpractice claim against a podiatric surgeon relating to multiple operations performed on a young nursing graduate who had a complex pre-existing psychiatric condition and had a poor surgical outcome that resulted in permanent incapacity to work.
  • Advising a company that provides computer products and services to a company acting as trustee for the project management of the construction of a Hydro plant with a contract value of over $195m.
