Advised the Design Joint Venture (lead design consultants) on negotiating a substantial commercial “reset” of their contracts with the Future Generation JV for the Snowy 2.0 pumped-hydro battery A$12B megaproject in NSW, Australia.
Advised on various high value and complex PPP projects in Victoria. Our team has advised on numerous closed PPP transactions, including the Public Housing Renewal Project Ground Lease Model Stage 2 PPP (Icon) and the tender for the New Melton Hospital PPP (Honeywell).
Acted for Canadian Solar in successfully obtaining judgement in the Supreme Court of QLD against the Principal, Re Oakey Pty Ltd (REO) for payment of $4,030,714.71 (excl. GST) (plus interest) pursuant to section 78(2)(a) of the Building Industry Fairness (Security of Payment) Act 2017 (QLD).
