Defamation cases are the focus of the group, alongside invasion of privacy, infringement of the right of publicity and content-related claims. Team lead Charles Tobin utilises his previous experience as a journalist to defend media clients in libel and privacy lawsuits. He sits in Washington DC alongside Seth Berlin who excels in handling First Amendment cases and has represented clients before federal trial and appeal courts throughout the US. The practice group has numerous litigation specialists equipped to handled defamation and First amendment cases all over the US, including New York, Chicago, Phoenix and Philadelphia.
