Baker McKenzie & KL Partners Joint Venture Law Firm strengthened its presence in Korea through a joint venture with KL Partners, launched in November 2023. This collaboration aligns Baker McKenzie’s energy, infrastructure, and outbound financing expertise with KL Partners’ cross-border disputes and inbound corporate capabilities. The global Korea practice is led by the Hong Kong-based Won Lee, while Jae-Hyon Ahn heads the joint venture’s finance and projects group, specialising in renewable energy and project financing. Albert Chung also plays a key role, focusing on M&A, LNG, and greenfield developments.
