Miranda & Amado’s power practice group holds a leading position in the Peruvian market, where it routinely assists clients with a full range of electricity-related issues. Alongside its expertise in regulatory matters, the team actively handles complex project development mandates, including the financing, construction and operation of power facilities and transmission lines, as well as contentious matters involving administrative litigation and international arbitration cases. The team is led by power-sector specialist Luis De-Bernardis, whose broad practice spans asset acquisitions, financing, regulatory controversies, land purchases and permitting matters, among other issues. Marife Martinelli is noted for her focus on regulatory and administrative law in relation to both the power sector and oil and gas; while associate Pedro A Morales specialises in regulatory disputes, asset acquisitions and due diligence.
