John Femi-Ola KC recently represented Mark Gordon, accused alongside Constance Marten of the gross negligence manslaughter of their newborn child, found dead in a Brighton shed in 2023, the couple having been on the run for several months, ostensibly in order to keep the baby from being taken into care - both defendants were convicted of other charges but the jury could not reach a verdict on the charge of manslaughter.
